view works

Audrey Hammond was born in South London. She studied Fine Art at Bromley College of Art.

She has been a member of the Greenwich Printmakers Association since 1983.

Selected exhibitions include; Barbican Print Fair, Barbican Concourse, 1998, Contemporary Print Show, Barbican Concourse, 1999, Society of Botanical Artists, Westminster, London, 1999.

In her own words, ‘My etchings are an extension of my feeling for drawing and painting generally. It is fascinating to explore ways of expressing line, form, texture and colour in a medium which can be repeated and in a craft which still leaves room for expression- no print seems to turn out exactly the same.'<
