Pauline Macey was born in Killanne, Co. Wexford, Ireland. She studied at The National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Predominant influences on her work are mountains, bogland, and coastline. Themes and subject matter are concerned with a response to the elemental qualities found in fringe-line locations.
Selected exhibitions include Guinness Gallery, Foxrock, Dublin, in 1992, Group Show, Lambay House Gallery, Howth, Co. Dublin, in 1998, R.H.A, Dublin, Annual exhibition, in 2000.
